If They Work For Me, Maybe They'll Vote For Me
</hdr>

By David Ellis/Reported by Wendy Cole

Faced with the lowest approval ratings of his presidency,
George Bush is courting the female vote for 1992. One sign: he
is thinking of packing the Cabinet with women. Joining LYNN
MARTIN (Labor) and CARLA HILLS (Trade) may be BARBARA FRANKLIN,
a management consultant, slated for Commerce. WENDY GRAMM, head
of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, might take over at
Transportation. "It would be the first time a President has four
women in his Cabinet," exults a Bush adviser. "It's our new
campaign strategy."
